The idea that the Edmonton Oilers will introduce cheerleaders is just embarrassing.
I see this decision as an admission that the on-ice product can't keep 19,000 paying fans entertained for three 20-minute periods, so they need to "enhance" the fans’ hockey "experience."
I think it's insulting to the players.
