
COLUMBUS, Ohio - The Columbus Blue Jackets have re-signed winger Jared Boll, one of the club's toughest players and its leader in penalty minutes the past three seasons.
The team announced the two-year contract on Tuesday. Terms were not disclosed.
The 24-year-old Boll had four goals and three assists with 149 penalty minutes in 68 games last season. His time in the penalty box was the 15th-highest total in the NHL.
Boll, a native of Charlotte, N.C., has 13 goals and 18 assists along with 555 penalty minutes in 218 career NHL games.
