Westcott has three goals and five assists in 11 games this season. At the time of the injury he led Columbus defencemen in goals and points and was tied for the team lead in points. He also ranked third on the club in ice time, averaging 22:27 per game.
The Winnipeg native is playing in his fourth NHL season and has nine goals and 41 assists in 166 games with the Blue Jackets. Last season he set career highs with six goals and 22 assists.
