New Jersey (23-14-3) at Los Angeles (17-17-6), 10:30 pm EST

LOS ANGELES (Ticker) -- Trying to keep pace in the competitive

Atlantic Division, the New Jersey Devils will need to continue

their strong play on the road.

The Devils will kick off a season-long, six-game road swing

Saturday, visiting the Los Angeles Kings.

New Jersey, which is hoping to avoid a third straight loss, has

played well away from the Prudential Center. The Devils have a

10-6-2 mark on the road this season.

The offense continued to sputter as New Jersey was blanked for

the third time in nine game in Thursday's 4-0 setback to the

Atlanta Thrashers.

Despite back-to-back losses, the Devils are in third place in

the Atlantic - four points behind the division-leading

Philadelphia Flyers with a game in hand.

The Kings are continuing a four-game homestand. Alexander

Frolov netted the game-winner and set up another goal as Los

Angeles opened the run with a 4-3 victory over the rival Anaheim

Ducks.

Captain Dustin Brown and Anze Kopitar also had a goal and assist

for the Kings, who will host the Tampa Bay Lightning and the

Detroit Red Wings on Monday and Thursday, respectively.
