On Monday, the documentary film "6 Days in Ukraine: The War on Hockey" was awarded finalist status for the monthly competition at the World Film Festival in Cannes.
6 Days in Ukraine: The War on Hockey chronicles Graeme Roustan’s tour of Ukraine, which has seen hockey rink facilities damaged or destroyed during the ongoing war with Russia.
The documentary film was awarded finalist status for the monthly competition at the World Film Festival in Cannes on Monday.
“I believe that both hockey and life in Ukraine are reflective of each other in that they will be back stronger than before,” said Roustan.
“They just need the help of hockey players and people from around the world who believe in their right to play hockey in freedom.”
