    Calgary (6-3-1) at Los Angeles (3-5-1), 10:00 p.m. EDT

LOS ANGELES (Ticker) -- The Calgary Flames seem to have

    recovered from a slow start.

The Flames look to win their sixth straight game on Saturday,

when they visit the Los Angeles Kings.

Calgary has outscored its opponents, 17-7, during its five-game

run, which includes a 3-2 triumph over the Boston Bruins on

Thursday. Mike Cammalleri and defenseman Dion Phaneuf each

recorded a goal and an assist in the win.

Miikka Kiprusoff has stepped up his play during the streak,

recording the win in each game. The former Vezina Trophy winner

had allowed 22 goals over the first five games of the season as

    Calgary went 1-3-1.

The Flames had two winning streaks of at least five games last

campaign, with their season-high six-game stretch taking place

    from December 9-18.

Los Angeles enters on a three-game losing streak as it continues

    its seven-game homestand.

The Kings have lost the first two contests of the lengthy string

at the Staples Center, including a 4-0 setback to the Vancouver

    Canucks on Thursday.

Calgary won three of the four meetings between the teams last

    season.
