Philadelphia (26-13-9) at St Louis (19-24-4), 8:30 pm EST

ST. LOUIS (Ticker) -- The Philadelphia Flyers recently have

seemed to enjoy their rare trips to the "Gateway City."

The Flyers will try to continue that trend when they visit the

St. Louis Blues on Saturday in the first meeting between the

    clubs in nearly two years.

Philadelphia, which has not faced the Blues since February 10,

2007, is seeking its sixth consecutive victory in St. Louis.

The Flyers have not lost at the Scottrade Center since February

    29, 2000.

The Flyers, who have won four straight meetings with the Blues

overall, are coming off a 6-1 triumph over the Tampa Bay

    Lightning.

Jeff Carter scored a pair of goals in that contest, giving the

All-Star an NHL-leading 32 tallies on the season. He has 53

points and six game-winning goals this campaign.

St. Louis suffered a 3-1 setback to the Ottawa Senators on

Thursday in its first contest since the All-Star break. The

Blues entered the hiatus on a two-game winning streak.

Brad Winchester scored the lone goal Thursday for St. Louis,

which had gone 3-0-1 over its previous four contests.
