
CLEVELAND - Alex Foster scored a goal and an assist, including the game-winner in the third period to lift the Toronto Marlies over the Lake Erie Monsters 5-4 in AHL action Sunday.
Robbie Earl, with two assists, Jeremy Williams, Kris Newbury and Bryan Muir, who added a helper on Foster's game-winner, each scored singles for Toronto (10-0-0-2).
Cody McLeod, Stephen Margeson, David Jones and Matt Hussey replied for the Monsters (2-8-0-2), who went 1-for-5 on the power play.
Toronto's Justin Pogge made 30 saves from 34 shots, while Lake Erie's Jason Bacashihua stopped 33 of 38.
