Goalie Giguere listed as day-to-day for injury-riddled Ducks

The Ducks are off to one of the best starts in NHL history, but have been beset by injuries lately.

Centre Todd Marchant (abdominal strain) and backup goalie Ilya Bryzgalov are also listed as day-to-day and defenceman Sean O'Donnell (lacerated foot) is probable for Anaheim's next game, Friday night at Carolina.

Beauchemin and Giguere both left in the second period of Tuesday night's 4-3 victory at San Jose. Michael Wall took over for Giguere and made four saves in his second NHL appearance.

The win gave the Ducks a 28-5-1 record.
