Cale Makar has another highlight-reel goal, J.J. Watt educates a teammate on hockey and Bowling Green's hockey team prepares for Jurassic Park night.

Salary Cap Projections Update For Next Season

Another Monday is upon us, and the hockey world did its part to give us three more fun stories to start the week.

Cale Makar Ends Things In Style In Edmonton

You weren't alone if you stood up for all of the overtime between Edmonton and Colorado. The extra period on Saturday night was an exciting one that saw the Avalanche battle back from being down 2-0 and ending the night victorious to the tune of a 3-2 win over the Oilers.

The game-winner came courtesy of Cale Makar, who ended things with yet another highlight reel goal.

The more you watch this goal, the better it gets. It appears we still are not even close yet to seeing fully what Cale Makar can do in the NHL. He's a top 10 player in the league for a reason.

Hockey 101 With J.J. Watt

The recently retired J.J. Watt's hockey prowess before his days of dominating in the NFL are well documented. He passed on his knowledge of the game to his Arizona Cardinals teammate Zaven Collins, who wanted to learn more in a very funny exchange.

Full credit to Collins, who was a great sport on Twitter about the segment for HBO's Hard Knocks. Hopefully, the Arizona Coyotes will invite him to Mullet Arena for a game.

Jurassic Park Lives at Bowling Green

This video was too good not to include.

The Bowling Green Falcons are giving away Jurassic Park hats to the first 1,000 fans at their game on Friday to celebrate 30 years of the film franchise, but they couldn't only send a tweet letting people know about the promotion.

If you're going to have a promotion like this, you must go all in. Full kudos to the team for spicing this night up. Although we advise against bringing in real dinosaurs to Slater Family Ice Arena on Friday night.
