NY Islanders (12-24-4) at Edmonton (18-16-3), 9:30 pm EST

EDMONTON, Alberta (Ticker) -- The New York Islanders will seek

their first road win in six weeks when they host the Edmonton

Oilers on Monday.

The Islanders have not won away from Nassau Coliseum since

November 24, falling 12 times over that span. The club suffered

back-to-back road losses to the Phoenix Coyotes and San Jose

Sharks on Friday and Saturday, respectively.

Richard Park had six points in those contests, including a goal

and two assists in Saturday's 5-3 setback to the Sharks, who own

the league's best record.

New York is on the other end of the spectrum, occupying the

bottom of the NHL's standings with 28 points. The Islanders are

2-12-2 since the end of November.

The Oilers enjoyed a good start to their five-game homestand,

cruising to a 4-1 victory over the Dallas Stars on Saturday.

Defenseman Sheldon Souray scored a goal and set up another and

Sam Gagner and Shawn Horcoff had two assists for Edmonton, which

has won four of its previous six contests.
