Toronto (16-18-6) at Montreal (22-10-6), 7:00 pm EST

MONTREAL (Ticker) -- Robert Lang and the Montreal Canadiens will

seek their third consecutive victory when they host the Toronto

Maple Leafs on Thursday in a meeting between "Original Six"

rivals.

Lang notched his second career hat trick, scoring all three

goals in the third period, to lead the Canadiens to a 6-3

victory over the New York Rangers on Wednesday.

Defenseman Andrei Markov, Alexei Kovalev and Guillaume

Latendresse also scored for Montreal, which is 7-1-1 over its

last nine games.

Markov and Kovalev were among four Canadiens - along with

defenseman Mike Komisarek and goaltender Carey Price - voted

into the starting lineup for the East at the All-Star Game,

which will be played at the Bell Centre on January 25.

The Maple Leafs have lost six of their last eight contests and

have not won on the road since December 22.

Alexei Ponikarovsky and Jason Blake scored, but Toronto suffered

a 4-2 loss to the Florida Panthers on Tuesday.
