HAMILTON - Loic Lacasse made 22 saves to earn his first AHL shutout as the Hamilton Bulldogs beat the Lake Erie Monsters 3-0 Friday.

It was a night of firsts in Hamilton. T.J. Kemp scored his first goal as a Bulldog, putting a one timer past Monsters goaltender Tyler Weiman at 7:00 in the first period.

Mathieu Carle and Mike Glumac also scored for the Bulldogs (23-12-2-0).

Weiman stopped 21 shots as Lake Erie dropped to (13-17-1-5).

Hamilton and Lake Erie continue their home and home series Saturday in Cleveland.
