The award show is scheduled for June 26, while the draft's first round will begin two days later on June 28 before concluding on June 29. Nashville has hosted many major NHL events, including the 2003 NHL draft, 2016 NHL all-star weekend and the 2017 Stanley Cup final.
The 2022 awards were held during the Stanley Cup final in Tampa Bay, while Montreal hosted the draft after holding the first overall pick this past July.
