Outdoor viewing parties have become popular in the NHL in recent years, with Toronto, Buffalo and Pittsburgh among the teams accommodating fans who wanted to cheer on their boys under the open skies during the post-season. And since New York is a city that does things on a grand scale, it only made sense that a cool setting was found for the Rangers' viewing party. Last night, fans packed Bryant Park in midtown Manhattan to watch New York lose 3-2 in crushing overtime to the Kings, but at least they had a glorious setting to do it in:
