Obstruction is coming back

The NHL preached about the crackdown on obstruction coming out of the lockout and we all laughed, wondering how long it would take for it to creep back into the game.

Surprisingly, they got through a full season of calling it.

Well, it’s 2007 and sadly, obstruction is back. Not quite as bad as pre-lockout but it’s getting there.

So much for keeping with the standards of the so-called “new NHL.”

It’s very discouraging.
