Florida (12-12-3) at Edmonton (13-11-2), 9:00 p.m. EST

EDMONTON, Alberta (Ticker) -- The Edmonton Oilers will try to

match a season-high with their fourth straight win when they

host the Florida Panthers on Thursday.

Edmonton won its first four contests of the campaign but has

been mired in mediocrity since.

The Oilers are coming off a rare victory at the San Jose Sharks

on Saturday, winning in overtime 3-2. The win dropped San

Jose's home record to 14-0-2.

Dwayne Roloson made 41 saves and Kyle Brodziak scored the

game-winner on the power play at 2:40 left in the extra session.

Ales Hemsky also tallied in the win, extending his point streak

to eight games.

Florida has won four of five for the first time all season after

Monday's 4-3 overtime victory against Ottawa.

Stephen Weiss scored an unassisted tally with 10 seconds left to

provide the game-winner.

The Oilers won the only meeting between the teams last season,

4-3, in a shootout.
