Washington (30-14-3) at Ottawa (15-21-7), 7:30 p.m. EST

OTTAWA (Ticker) -- The Washington Capitals look to continue

rolling when they visit the Ottawa Senators on Tuesday.

Winners of three straight and 15 of its last 19, Washington has

opened up a 14-point lead over the Florida Panthers (21-16-7) in

the Southeast Division.

After defeating the Boston Bruins, 2-1, on Saturday, the

Capitals won by the same score in overtime against the New York

Islanders on Monday.

Alex Ovechkin tallied both goals on the power play, including

the game-winner at the 1:46 mark of the extra session. It was

the reigning Hart Trophy winner's league-leading 31st goal of

the season.

Ottawa rallied from a two-goal deficit in the third period

against Montreal on Saturday, but fell in a shootout, 5-4, which

snapped its two-game winning streak. Dany Heatley scored twice

in the loss to lead the Senators.

The teams have split the two meetings earlier this season.

Ovechkin scored a pair of goals in the latest contest, a 5-1

Capitals victory on December 12.
