The Florida Panthers have signed Colin White to a one-year deal worth $1.2-million.
White, 25, played six seasons with the Senators, recording 36 goals and 98 points in 224 games. This past season, he had 10 points in 24 games.
White had a career-high 41 points in 2018-19, his first full season in the NHL. White spent two years with Boston College before turning pro, posting 76 points in 72 games. White had just finished his third year on a six-year deal worth $4.75 million per season.
The Panthers have done an excellent job in reclamation projects in the past, so this could be an opportunity for White to find his game again.
