PROVIDENCE, R.I. - Patrick Jarrett scored his first AHL goal to help the Manchester Monarchs defeat the Providence Bruins 5-1 in the AHL Sunday.
Jarrett, a native of Sault Ste. Marie, Ont., who started the season with the ECHL's Reading Royals, played junior hockey for the Owen Sound Attack.
American netminder Jonathan Quick stopped 34 shots for his first AHL win. Peter Harrold, with two goals, Troy Milam and David Meckler also scored for the Monarchs.
