The Premier Hockey Federation has tapped the Toronto Six to host the 2022 All-Star Game.

The PHF All-Star game is coming to Toronto.

According to a report from the Toronto Star's Kevin McGran on Thursday morning, the Premier Hockey Federation has tapped the Toronto Six to host the 2022 All-Star Game, taking place on Jan. 29 at York Canlan Sports Arena.

The Six are the PHF's (formerly named the NWHL) first official expansion team, coming into existence on April 22nd, 2020, and playing their inaugural season the following year. They are currently undefeated in the 2021-22 season thus far, sitting second in the PHF standings behind the Boston Pride with a 3-0-0 record and nine points.

This will mark the first All-Star Game held by the league under its new PHF banner since changing from its previous NWHL branding in September of 2021. It will also be the league's first All-Star Game to be held in full since 2020, after the COVID-19 pandemic caused the event to be cancelled last season.

Details on ticket purchasing and dates have yet to be officially announced.
