The Professional Hockey Writer's Association has officially unveiled its 32 nominees for the 2022 Bill Masterton Memorial Trophy.

The 2022 class of nominees for the Bill Masterton Trophy are in. 

All 32 chapters of the Professional Hockey Writers Association have submitted their nominees for the award to honor the player that “best exemplifies the qualities of perseverance, sportsmanship, and dedication to the game.”

The top-three vote-getters will be determined by a run-off vote and deemed finalists for the award. A winner will then be selected and announced between games three and four of this year's Stanley Cup final. 

The list of each team's nominee is as follows:

The 2021 winner was Flyers forward Oskar Lindblom, who overcame his battle with Ewing's sarcoma, a rare form of bone cancer, to return to the lineup and suit up in 5o of his team's 56 games last season.
