WINNIPEG - Antti Pihlstrom had one goal and an assist to lead the Milwaukee Admirals past the Manitoba Moose 2-1 in AHL action on Friday night.
The winger opened the scoring for the Admirals with his fifth goal of the season nine minutes into the first period.
After a scoreless second, centre Rich Peverley doubled Milwaukee's points five minutes into the third with assists by Matt Ellison and Pihlstrom.
Moose winger Mason Raymond replied about a minute and a half later, scoring the last goal of the game - his first of the season - before a crowd of 7,786 at the MTS Centre.
But it was too little too late for Manitoba in a game fraught with penalties.
Admirals winger Kelsey Wilson and Moose defenceman Zack FitzGerald were placed in the penalty box for five minutes each after breaking into a fight sixteen minutes into play.
Milwaukee goaltender Maxime Daigneault made 23 saves for the Admirals while Cory Schneider stopped 17 for the Manitoba Moose.
