NY Rangers (22-11-2) at San Jose (25-4-3), 10:30 pm EST

SAN JOSE, California (Ticker) -- For maybe the first time this

season, it's not the San Jose Sharks that are rolling into the

HP Pavilion.

The New York Rangers will seek their fourth consecutive victory

Saturday when they visit the Sharks.

Looking for their longest winning streak since the start of the

season, the Rangers have a difficult task in front of them. The

Sharks have not lost a regular season game at home in regulation

since February 14.

San Jose has been nearly unbeatable at the "Shark Tank" this

campaign, posting an incredible 16-0-2 record.

But the Sharks, who are off to one of the best starts to a

season in NHL history, are in danger of their first three-game

losing streak of the season. San Jose was routed by the Detroit

Red Wings, 6-0, on Thursday.

New York, however, seems to have motivated by the embarrassing

8-5 loss suffered to the rival New Jersey Devils eight days ago.

After besting the Carolina Hurricanes in a shootout, the Rangers

picked up a pair of victories on their first two stops of a

three-game road trip through California.

Nigel Dawes snapped a tie with 3:16 left in the third period of

Tuesday's 3-1 triumph over the Anaheim Ducks and defenseman

Michal Rozsival netted two goals - including the game-winner in

overtime, during Wednesday's 3-2 win over the Los Angeles Kings.
