    Los Angeles Kings GM Rob Blake is never getting Gabe Vilardi and Alex Iafallo back. Nor is he ever going to recoup the $8.5 million the Kings spent on Pierre-Luc Dubois last season for 40 points in 82 games.

    He took his mulligan and made the most of it, however, when he dealt Dubois to the Washington Capitals in exchange for goalie Darcy Kuemper. 

    That's what the good GMs do when they make mistakes on the level that Blake did last summer when he acquired Dubois from the Winnipeg Jets. They correct them.
