COLUMBUS, Ohio (Ticker) -- A recent scoring spree has helped the

Detroit Red Wings rebound from a season-long losing streak by

matching their season-high winning streak.

Detroit will look to extend that winning streak to seven games

when it pays a visit to the Columbus Blue Jackets on Friday.

The Red Wings have scored 29 goals during the hot stretch, led

by Marion Hossa. While the Slovak had his five-game goal streak

snapped in Thursday's 4-2 win over Minnesota, he still collected

two assists.

Hossa has seven goals and three assists in his last six games

and has recorded a point in 10 of 11 contests. Jiri Hudler,

Kris Draper and Ville Leino scored second-period goals to lift

the Red Wings past the Wild.

Ty Conklin and Chris Osgood have each won their last three

starts, with Osgood making 21 saves Thursday.

Rookie goaltender Dan LaCosta has carried Columbus to a pair of

wins in his first two starts, including a 3-0 win over Colorado

on Tuesday. The 22-year-old made 31 saves and the Blue Jackets

scored three times in the third to earn the win.

After dropping the first two meetings with Detroit this season,

Columbus captain Rick Nash capped off a hat trick with an

overtime goal to lift the Blue Jackets to a 3-2 win over the Red

Wings on January 27.
