Buffalo (21-15-5) at Detroit (28-7-5), 7:00 p.m. EST

DETROIT (Ticker) -- Buffalo is one of the hotter teams in the

league. Unfortunately for the Sabres, the Detroit Red Wings may

be playing a little bit better.

Buffalo looks to extend its winning streak to five games when it

visits red-hot Detroit on Saturday.

Ryan Miller made 43 saves and stopped all three shots in the

shootout as Buffalo matched a season-high with its fourth

straight win, 2-1, against the New York Rangers on Friday.

Miller has allowed two goals or less in each of his last four

games.

Ales Kotalik netted the lone goal in the bonus format and Derek

Roy scored in regulation for the Sabres.

While the Sabres' winning streak is their longest since opening

the season with four wins, the Red Wings come in on a five-game

tear, outscoring opponents 22-7 over that span.

Marian Hossa, Daniel Cleary, All-Star Pavel Datsyuk and Henrik

Zetterberg all recorded a goal and an assist as Detroit pounded

Dallas, 6-1, on Thursday.

Detroit, which has won its past six contests at Joe Louis Arena,

opens a season-high six-game road trip at Dallas on Monday.
