I was very disappointed to learn that the Lester B. Pearson Award has been renamed.

Lester Pearson was a man who believed in settling differences by peaceful means. Ted Lindsay was a man who believed in settling his on-ice differences with his fists.

Surely a new trophy/award could have been created to honor Lindsay. Sadly, the original spirit of the award has been lost.
