With a career that spans over 19 NHL seasons, goaltender Curtis Joseph is set to announce his retirement on Tuesday, according to a report.
ESPN.com reports that Joseph, who is fourth on the all-time wins list, will officially announce his retirement in a scheduled news conference at the Air Canada Centre in Toronto.
The 42-year-old Joseph - known by many as Cujo - played in 21 games last season for the Maple Leafs and finished with a 3.57 goal-against average, .869 save percentage and a 5-9-1 record.
His 454 career regular-season victories trail Martin Brodeur, Patrick Roy and Ed Belfour. Joseph played 958 regular-season games with St. Louis, Edmonton, Toronto, Detroit, Phoenix and Calgary.
He reached the conference finals twice with Toronto in 1999 and 2002.
