TORONTO - Rogers says it will carry CBC's 3D Hockey Night in Canada broadcast on Saturday night, with the Montreal Canadiens visiting the Toronto Maple Leafs.
Some Rogers customers had been complaining online that the cable company was running ads saying its equipment is 3D-ready, and yet it hadn't announced any plans to carry the game.
It will be the first hockey game to be broadcast in 3D in Canada.
Bell, Shaw, Telus and Videotron had previously committed to picking up CBC's 3D signal for the game.
