    WINNIPEG - Marco Rosa and Mike Keane scored in the shootout as the Manitoba Moose edged the Peoria Rivermen 2-1 in American Hockey League action on Saturday night.

    Mario Bliznak had a goal in regulation for Manitoba (40-33-7), while Cory Schneider made 28 saves and turned aside five shots in the shootout. Daryl Boyle had a single for Peoria (38-33-9), while Ben Bishop stopped 33 shots and four shooters. Julian Talbot was the only shootout scorer for the Rivermen.

    Both teams were 0-for-2 on the power play.

    The Moose will start their North Division semifinal series against the Bulldogs in Hamilton on Thursday.
