Ottawa (13-18-6) at Buffalo (19-15-5), 7:00 pm EST

BUFFALO, New York (Ticker) -- The Ottawa Senators are not

enjoying their longest road trip of the season.

The Senators hope to change their fortunes when they visit the

Buffalo Sabres on Tuesday in a battle of Northeast Division

rivals.

On an eight-game swing, Ottawa has gone 1-4-1 over the first six

stops. The Senators will face the Eastern Conference-leading

Boston Bruins on Thursday to conclude the trip.

Ottawa squandered three separate leads Sunday, suffering a 4-3

overtime setback to the New Jersey Devils for its 10th loss in

13 games. The Senators are 1-11-3 over their previous 15 road

contests.

The Sabres are seeking their third straight win after topping

the Bruins, 4-2, on Saturday. Matt Ellis, who had just four

career goals entering the contest, scored twice and added an

assist in that one.

Thomas Vanek and Paul Gaustad also scored and Ryan Miller made

29 saves Saturday for Buffalo, which is 8-4-2 over its last 14

games.
