SAN JOSE, California (Ticker) -- Before heading out on a

four-game road trip, the San Jose Sharks will seek their third

consecutive victory when they face the Atlanta Thrashers on

Saturday.

Captain Patrick Marleau was one of four players to score a goal

Thursday as the Sharks claimed a 4-2 victory over the Los

Angeles Kings.

Milan Michalek and Lukas Kaspar also tallied and defenseman

Marc-Edouard Vlasic added a goal and set up another for San

Jose.

The Sharks, who have an NHL-best 25-2-3 home record, have been

the top team in the Western Conference for most of the season,

but are just 3-1-4 this month.

"We're trying to get everything working again and getting ready

for that next road trip," Marleau said. "We've got one more

game at home and hopefully get another win here, feel good about

ourselves and then head out on the road and do the job on the

road.

The Thrashers, who are ending a four-game road swing, are coming

off Thursday's 4-3 setback to the Phoenix Coyotes.
