The 23-year-old Czech injured his right shoulder in the first period of Tuesday's 3-2 overtime loss to Anaheim. He was scheduled to have an X-ray later Wednesday. "It's always frustrating to get injured," Hemsky told reporters. "Hopefully I will be back as soon as possible."
Hemsky is third on the Oilers in scoring with 18 points in 23 games.
