Philadelphia (10-6-4) at Carolina (11-9-2), 7:00 p.m. EST

RALEIGH, North Carolina (Ticker) -- The Philadelphia Flyers aim

for their sixth straight win when they visit the Carolina

Hurricanes on Wednesday.

After a disastrous 0-3-3 start, Philadelphia has turned things

around - thanks to the highest-scoring offense in the Eastern

Conference.

Philadelphia has tallied 17 goals during its winning streak an

average of 3.42 goals per game.

Mike Knuble scored twice, including the game-winner with 5:08

remaining as the Flyers recorded a 4-3 victory over the Dallas

Stars on Monday. Jeff Carter tallied for the third straight

game and is tied for the league lead with Buffalo's Thomas Vanek

with 15 goals.

Carolina has dropped two straight, including Monday's 3-2

setback to Florida. Right wing Chad LaRose has scored in two

straight games after failing to register a point in eight

consecutive contests.

The Flyers, who will host the Hurricanes on Friday, last won six

in a row from October 30-November 12, 2005.
