
GLENS FALLS, N.Y. - Max Pacioretty had a pair of goals as the Hamilton Bulldogs beat the Adirondack Phantoms 3-2 in American Hockey League action Wednesday.
Pacioretty has now scored in three straight games.
Andrew Conboy also scored for Hamilton (12-3-4), while Curtis Sanford stopped 39 shots in his fourth straight win.
Luke Pither and Danny Syvret replied for Adirondack (3-15-2), while Johan Backlund made 30 saves.
The Bulldogs opened the scoring at 10:26 of the first period. David Desharnais sent the puck to Pacioretty, who rifled a shot past Backlund.
The Phantoms tied the game 1-1 at 10:30 of the second period. Marc-Andre Bourdon sent a long-lead pass to Pither, who skated in alone on a breakaway and fired a shot over Sanford's glove.
Pacioretty scored his second goal of the game 25 seconds later. Brendon Nash sent the puck to Pacioretty, who fired a shot past Backlund.
The Bulldogs increased their lead to 3-1 at 12:47 of the third period. Gabriel Dumont collected the puck in the corner before sending a cross-crease pass to Conboy, who tapped the puck past Backlund and across the goal-line.
Syvret scored a power-play goal at 17:55 of the third period to cap the scoring.
