SPRINGFIELD, Mass. - Syracuse Crunch goaltender Karl Goehring was named the American Hockey League player of the week on Monday.

He posted a 3-0-1 record last week and had a 1.21 GAA and a .963 save percentage. Goehring stopped 131 of 136 shots in four starts.

Also Monday, Milwaukee Admirals centre Cal O'Reilly was named AHL player of the month for February. He led all AHL scorers with 24 points (5-19) in 16 games last month.

Chicago Wolves netminder Ondrej Pavelec was named goaltender of the month. He was 9-2-1 in 12 appearances last month and posted a 1.49 GAA and a .949 save percentage.

Bridgeport Sound Tigers centre Trevor Smith was named rookie of the month. Smith had 15 points (8-7) in 13 games last month.
