    OTTAWA (Ticker) -- The Atlanta Thrashers hope to snap a

    three-game losing streak when they visit the Ottawa Senators on

    Tuesday.

    Atlanta is 2-9-2 over its last 13 contests and was swept in a

    home-and-home series with the Boston Bruins last weekend. The

    Thrashers dropped the opener at home, 7-3, on Friday before

    losing 4-2 at Boston on Saturday.

    Defenseman Nathan Oystrick had a goal and an assist in the

    Saturday's loss for Atlanta, which is allowing a league-worst

    3.69 goals per game.

    Ottawa snapped a three-game skid with Saturday's 2-0 shutout of

    Tampa Bay.

    Martin Gerber made 24 saves for his first blanking of the season

    - 10th of his career - and Alexandre Picard scored his first

    career goal in the Senators win.
