TORONTO - The Toronto Maple Leafs have recalled forward Carter Ashton from the Toronto Marlies of the American Hockey League.
Ashton was re-assigned by the Leafs to the Marlies on Nov. 21. In 13 games with the Maple Leafs in 2013-14, Ashton has one assist, 12 penalty minutes and a plus-2 rating.
Toronto faced the Sabres in Buffalo on Friday night.
