    TORONTO - Defenceman Pavel Kubina, who won a Stanley Cup with the Tampa Bay Lightning in 2004, has retired after 13 NHL seasons.

    The 35-year-old Czech had 110 goals and 276 assists during his NHL tenure with Tampa Bay, Toronto, Atlanta and Philadelphia. He last played in the NHL in 2011-'12 with Tampa Bay and Philadelphia.

    Kubina represented the Czech Republic at the Olympics in 2002, 2006 and 2010.
