What started as a Canadian cakewalk ended as the biggest comeback in World Junior Championship history after Russia stormed back from a three-goal deficit to beat Canada 5-3 and win the gold medal in Buffalo, N.Y.
It was Russia's first gold medal since beating the Canadians in 2003 and for the second straight year Canada had to settle for silver despite being heavy favorites heading into the final.
THN’s Ryan Kennedy caught up with members of both teams to get their reaction to Russia’s epic comeback win at the 2011 World Junior Championship.
