HAMILTON, Ont. - J.T. Wyman and Mikael Johansson each had a goal and an assist as the Hamilton Bulldogs reclaimed top spot in the AHL's North Division on Wednesday with a 4-1 win over the Rochester Americans.

Wyman opened the scoring five minutes into the game and assisted on Mathieu Darche's goal at 14:41 that gave the Bulldogs (21-8-5) a 2-0 lead. Darche has five goals in his last three games against Rochester (22-11-2).

The Americans responded on a goal by Chris Taylor five minutes into the second period, but Brock Trotter restored Hamilton's two-goal advantage seven minutes later, and Johansson closed out the scoring midway through the third.

Cedrick Desjardins stopped 24 shots to preserve the win for Hamilton, while Ryan Mior made 20 saves in defeat for the Americans.
