Detroit (7-1-2) at San Jose (8-2-0) 10:30 pm. EDT

SAN JOSE, California (Ticker) -- Henrik Zetterberg and the

reigning Stanley Cup champion Detroit Red Wings aim to bounce

back from their first road loss of the season on Thursday, when

the visit the San Jose Sharks.

Zetterberg and Pavel Datysuk each scored a pair of goals, but

defenseman Francois Beauchemin tapped in the game-winning tally

1:39 into overtime as the Red Wings fell, 5-4, to the Anaheim

Ducks on Wednesday.

The Red Wings dropped to 2-0-1 on their five-game road trip.

Eight of Detroit's last 10 games have been decided by one goal,

so it may need Zetterberg to keep up his torrid pace. The 2008

Conn Smythe Trophy winner has scored seven goals in his last six

games.

While Zetterberg and the Red Wings have been good on the road,

the Sharks have been unbeatable at home.

Joe Pavelski scored a shorthanded goal, Mike Grier netted the

game-winner and Evgeni Nabokov stopped 10 shots in a 2-1 victory

over the Pittsburgh Penguins on Tuesday as San Jose improved to

5-0-0 at the HP Pavilion.
