NHL 22 to Remove Russia, Belarus National Teams from Game

EA Sports announced on Wednesday that it will be removing Russia and Belarus' national teams from NHL 22 in the coming weeks.

This comes as EA Sports introduced new IIHF content into the game over the past few months through the World Junior Championship and the men's and women's World Championship. 

The IIHF recently banned Russia and Belarus from its competitions for the time being, with individual nations backing out of other international events falling outside of the IIHF banner.
