EDMONTON - Dustin Penner, Ryan Jones and Shawn Horcoff scored in a 5:47 span early in the second period to help the Edmonton Oilers beat the Florida Panthers 3-2 on Sunday night.

Nikolai Khabibulin made 26 saves for Edmonton, three nights after stopping 37 shots in a 4-0 home victory over Calgary in the Oilers' first game under coach Tom Renney.

Czech star Milan Lucic and rookie Tyler Seguin also scored. Horton, acquired from Florida in June, scored twice Saturday in the Bruins' 5-2 loss to the Coyotes.
