    Here's today's NHL Nugget – this Weekend's Way Back When goes back to May 3, 2004, in the Western Conference semifinal between the Calgary Flames and Detroit Red Wings.

    The game was tied 0-0 through three periods of play, but Flames forward Martin Gelinas pulled through in overtime to not only score the series-winning goal but make NHL history in the process.
