NHL players Mark Streit, Jonas Hiller selected in Switzerland's squad for Vancouver Olympics

GENEVA - New York Islanders defenceman Mark Streit and Anaheim Ducks goalie Jonas Hiller have been selected in Switzerland's hockey squad for the Winter Olympics in Vancouver.

Switzerland coach Ralph Krueger announced his 23-player squad on Wednesday for the Feb. 12-28 games.

Hamilton's Yannick Weber and Hartford's Andreas Ambuehl were also included on the roster.



Goalkeepers: Martin Gerber (Atlant Mytischtschi), Jonas Hiller (Anaheim Ducks), Tobias Stephan (Geneve-Servette).

Defenders: Goran Bezina (Geneve-Servette), Severin Blindenbacher (Faerjestads BK), Rafael Diaz (Zug), Roman Josi (Bern), Luca Sbisa (Lethbridge), Mathias Seger (ZSC Lions), Mark Streit (New York Islanders), Yannick Weber (Hamilton).

Forwards: Andres Ambuehl (Hartford), Thomas Deruns (Geneve-Servette), Hnat Domenichelli (Lugano), Sandy Jeannin (Fribourg), Thibaut Monnet (ZSC Lions), Thierry Paterlini (Rapperswil-Jona), Martin Pluess (Bern), Kevin Romy (Lugano), Ivo Ruthemann (Bern), Raffaele Sannitz (Lugano), Julien Sprunger (Fribourg), Roman Wick (Kloten).
