Niedermayer doesn't belong in this All-Star Game

I'm stunned Scott Niedermayer has been added to the Western Conference All-Star roster. What a joke!

Not that Niedermayer isn’t a Hall of Fame defenseman, but he has played less than a month so far this season.

The All-Star Game is for players who have played well in the first half of the season. There is no way Niedermayer has earned an All-Star selection in a few weeks of play.

Brian Rafalski is the second leading scorer among defensemen. He seems to be the obvious choice to replace Sergei Zubov.
