Nolan, Isles seemed like perfect fit

It seems strange to me that Ted Nolan is already out as the Islanders' head coach.

He has a knack for getting the most out of players who are underachieving, unmotivated, over-the-hill, or generally lacking in overall skill.

Isles GM Garth Snow seems to have a knack for filling his roster with precisely those types of players, so shouldn't it be a match made in heaven?
