Nolan Schaefer makes 21 saves as Aeros shutout Moose, 3-0

HOUSTON - Nolan Schaefer made 21 saves for the shutout as the Houston Aeros blanked the Manitoba Moose 3-0 Thursday in the AHL.

Houston (20-15-1-2) scored two goals in the first period, as Steve Kelly got a power-play marker at 4:20 and Peter Olvecky scored his sixth of the year at 10:40. Maxim Noreau sealed the deal with his fourth, a power-play goal with six seconds remaing in the second period.

Drew MacIntyre blocked 26 of 29 shots for the Moose (21-13-2-1).
